Justen Nadauld


Justen founded Venator Ventures with his co-founder and long time friend in 2000 after a successful recruiting career throughout the 1990's.

Nadauld learned the recruiting ropes from seasoned professionals and good mentors at Axis Technologies.

By founding Venator Nadauld's goal was to build a tech recruiting firm based on integrity, hard work, and a balanced life.

Through the years Venator Ventures has celebrated the ups and endured the downs of the tech industry and global economy. Amidst the evolution of the tech industry Venator Ventures has remained a trusted recruiting ally for many of the industry's top companies and candidates.

Early in life he learned the importance of team work and building relationships that last. He knows that successful recruiters have strong relationships with cutting edge companies, talented candidates, and industry leading VC firms.
Venator Ventures has been built on the backs of hard working, intelligent, and passionate recruiters.

Nadauld enjoys hiring and mentoring new recruiters as well as meeting new tech entrepreneurs and helping them build their teams. He knows how it feels to be surrounded by a strong and dedicated team and strives to help his client companies achieve that same success.

Nadauld is married with one son and three daughters. He spends his free time coaching his children’s teams and supporting them in all their athletic and academic pursuits. He also finds time to be an assistant rugby coach at BYU, his alma mater.

Kimball Kjar

Managing Principal

Kimball Kjar has worked with Venator Ventures since 2001 after a short term internship proved to be his chosen career path.

Kjar oversees the operations of Venator's Executive & Contingency Search Groups. Having worked with some of the tech industry's top talent and companies, Kjar has built up a proven track-record of recruiting success.

Kjar graduated from Brigham Young University and is a former collegiate All-American and international-level rugby player for the USA and continues to coach in his part-time.

A parent of four children, Kjar, along with his wife, try to not mess up their kids' lives too much.
